• 1860 United States Federal Census, Terrisa Bennett household, Antioch, Troup County, Georgia: Teresa and six of her children (Susan, Martha, Lewis, William, Jesse and George) were living together. She was listed as a farmer, age 55, born in South Carolina. It was noted that she was unable to read and write. ⁴²¹²
