Winifred MULLINS 173,1081,1082
General Notes: Even though no actual documentation exists to establish Winifred as the daughter of Henry & Mary Mullins, it is very likely for several reasons. Paul W. Gregory, a retired genealogist and author of "Early Settlers of the Reddies River" states that all the evidence indicates that Winefred is the daughter of Henry and Mary Mullins, as they are the only Mullins family living near the Owen farm in Wilkes County, North Carolina. David & Winefred moved from Wilkes County, North Carolina to Rockcastle County, Kentucky at about the same time as Henry & Mary Mullins and several of their sons. In additon, the Owen's & Mullins' often married cousins and two of Winefred sons married daughters of Spencer & Champ Mullins (both probably sons of Henry).
